Emily leads photo production for all URBAN-X projects, collaborating with photographers to set the creative direction for each shoot, coordinate logistics, and ensure that the visual content aligns with the brand's storytelling goals. She plans shots, selects locations, and captures authentic moments that highlight the dynamic work of startups in the program. The resulting visuals create a cohesive narrative that showcases the founders, their innovations, and their impact in the urban tech space.

Emily works extensively with New York City-based photographer Zack DeZon to bring these projects to life.

She curates content by selecting engaging photos, writing compelling copy, and collaborating closely with graphic designers—often the talented Zihao Wang —to create cohesive visuals. Emily oversees the end-to-end process, from ideation to publishing, ensuring all content aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives. She also analyzes performance metrics and adjusts strategies to optimize engagement and growth, using data-driven insights to enhance the brand's overall social media presence.
